Traffic Operation Results - Brockholes

Officers from Team 2 Rural NPT conducted a Mult-agency traffic operation on Friday 12th September in the Brockholes area with IOM Catch and Control, DVSA, DVLA and Kirklees Taxi Licensing. This was an intelligence led operation from members of the community focusing on the fatal 5 which are:

Speeding
Failing to wear a seat belt
Driving whilst using a mobile phone
Driving under the influence of drink/drugs
Dangerous driving and/or due care and attention

The results from the operation are as below:

8 x Speeding tickets
10 x Illegal number plates
1 x Fixed Penalty Notices
6 x Immediate Prohibition Notices
2 x Taxi Rectifications
1 x Mobile Phone
1 x No Insurance
4 x No MOT
1 x Drive without due care and attention
1 x No Seat belt
